Kranji Marshes wetlands open to public

SINGAPORE — The 56.8-hectare Kranji Marshes wetlands — the largest freshwater marshland in Singapore — was officially opened today (Feb 1) and guided tours will start at the end of the month.

Located next to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, the marshland lies along the northwestern shore of Kranji Reservoir and is home to more than 170 species of birds, 54 species of butterflies and 33 species of dragonflies.
